TOO CLOSE is a conceptual art experience that turns the viewer into an explorer, compelling a closer look at the major themes of our time.

A project by Davide Carafoli with the contribution of Copywriter Caterina Di Noto and the Visual Artist Guendalina Cloe Montoli.

Its creation and dissemination are the result of a collaboration between distinct professional skills, united by the goal of generating a cultural and social impact.

15 large-format canvases present themselves as fields of pure colour, abstract graphic details of pleasant beauty.

Next to each one, a container invites a physical gesture: to open, to discover.

Inside, the revelation.

The “zoom out” that overturns the initial perception, transforming abstract harmony into a symbol of an uncomfortable theme of our time.

This is not an exhibition to be looked at. It is a path to be lived. A metaphorical invitation to take a step back and observe the reality around us, bringing into focus what, in the frenzy of daily life, is too close to be seen clearly.
